A. 6 things to do
1. Psalm 34/(12-15), 17 - Old Test
"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days.
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and
do good; seek peace and
pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are on the
righteous and his ears are
attentive to their cry. --------
The righteous cry out, and the LORD
hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles. "
2. New Testrament equivalent
1 Peter 3/(10-12)
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” New International Version (NIV)

1. Proverbs 6/(16-19)
"There are
six things the LORD hates,

haughty eyes, a
lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies and a man
who stirs up dissension among brothers. "

"Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight!
Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.
If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land;"

"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To
act justly and
to love mercy and
to walk humbly with your God."

Deuteronomy 10/(12-13)
"And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but
to fear the LORD your God; to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?"
